Gurdwaras are where people go to worship wahegure (the sikh way of saying god). There are many sikhs all over the world meaning their are many gurdwaras all over the world. Gurdwara can vary from size to size. Inside of a gurdwara there is a langar hall (a place where people eat) and a place for you to worship waheguru. The most famous gurdwara is Harmundar Sahib (the Golden Temple). This gurdwara is very big and located in Amritsar India. Punjab India has the most amount of gurdwaras in the world. Inside every gurdwara, there is a Guru Granth Sahib Ji kept. There are also many people that go to a gardwara on special Sikh holidays like Diwali. On the outside of a gurdwara there is always a Nashan Sahib (a flag with a khanda on it). This signifies if their is a gurdwara their or not.
